London — The AI Education & Certification Board (AIECB) today published UAICS v9.1, the standard’s first public release: 66 knowledge points across five domains (63 formally assessed), with a Badge Stage and ten certification levels across two pathways. The release also establishes three governance instruments — the Three Criteria for Assessment Inclusion, the Assumed Foundations Statement, and the assessment blueprint with weighting principles — under a three-tier document architecture of Standard, Assessment Specifications and Implementation Guidance. The full standard and knowledge map are available for download from today. Assessment Specifications follow in phases from H2 2026; first formal assessments are planned for June 2027, with exact dates announced here after the pilot.
